A florist uses 160 roses and 42 tulips to make 5 identical flower arrangements. How many roses would the florist use to create 8 identical arrangements

You can use ratios to answer this. If you need 160 roses for 5 arrangements, than you will need 32 (160/5) roses in each arrangement.

For 8 arrangements, this would be 256 roses (32 x 8).
