Southeast Asian countries export a large portion of their palm oil production, with 85% of palm oil globally and exported it from Indonesia and Malaysia. Palm oil is the newest product and export of Southeast Asia, it used in half of grocery products. The expansion represents the greatest threats to tropical rainforests.
