D. Natural gas power plants
Geothermal facilities are very expensive to build and are only able to be built in areas with the correct geology. These power plants operate virtually emission and pollution free, and they do not require fuel or waste to be shipped to or from the facility.
The second option would be nuclear power plants. However, nuclear power plants can leave behind radiation and radiated waste which is considered pollution.
