Libations are liquids poured from a glass or a bowl onto the ground. This is done in honor of the dead or in honor of the underground gods. By doing them, you create a pact with god, since the word spendo from Greek means pour a libation. In a different grammatical voice, spendo means enter an agreement with gods.
