80 >= -8(w-8)

Use distributive property:

80 >= -8w + 64

Subtract 64 from both sides:

16 >= -8w

Divide both sides by -8:

-2 >= w

Because the division was done using a negative value the inequality gets reversed:

w >= -2

Answer : w >= -2
