We can use the following equation for the period of an oscillating spring system:

[tex]\large\boxed{T = 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{m}{k}}}[/tex]

[tex]T[/tex] = Period (s)
[tex]m[/tex] = mass (kg)
[tex]k[/tex] = Spring Constant (N/m)

Plug in the givens and solve.

[tex]T = 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{1}{10}} = \boxed{1.987 s}[/tex]
