parallel lines have the same slope

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
slope(m) = 2/4
(2,5)...x1 = 2 and y1 = 5
now we sub
y - 5 = 2/4(x - 2)

now if there is a typo and ur slope is 3/4....it would be :
y - 5 = 3/4(x - 2)
