Add 14 to both sides

20x = 17x + 1 + 14

20x = 17x + 15

Subtract 17x from both side

20x - 17x = 15

x = 15/3

x = 5

∠1 = 17x + 1 = 17*5 + 1 =  85 + 1 = 86

∠2 = 20x - 14 = 20*5 - 14 = 100 - 14 =86
