How would I solve this? n + -6 = 11 (i don't understand order of operations and my teacher makes no sense trying to explain)

The answer is 17

okay if u are addition u do the opposite of addition which subtraction so you would do 11 minus -6 which leads u to 17 same with multiplication and division if your doing multiplication u divide if your doing division u multiply
