In a threatre film, sometimes you are able to interact with the people performing. It is more of a performance than a film.
However in a cinema, you cannot interact with the film, they actors cannot hear you. And the film could be showing all over the world at the same time.
You can only experience the same threatre film with the same performers once. But you can watch the same film however many times.
