To find:

The value of x.

Solution:

We know that, the sum of all exterior angles of a quadrilateral is always 360 degrees.

The below figure represents the four exterior angles of the quadrilateral. So,

[tex]65^\circ+106^\circ+78^\circ+x^\circ=360^\circ[/tex]

[tex]249^\circ+x^\circ=360^\circ[/tex]

[tex]x^\circ=360^\circ -249^\circ[/tex]

[tex]x^\circ=111^\circ[/tex]

Therefore, the measure of x is [tex]111^\circ[/tex].
