Ymir's powers became the Nine Titans and she continued to serve her descendants, building them Titans whenever they invoked the power of the Titans. After these seventeen centuries, the Founding Titan was inherited by Karl Fritz, the 145th King. Eren Yeager was bestowed with the powers of the Founding Titan and the Attack Titan by his father Grisha Yeager unbeknownst to him, following the events of the fall of Wall Maria.
