No. Some are dormant (meaning they are basically inactive) and others areconstantly erupting.To prove a point, Hawaii IS a bunch of volcanoes. Hawaiianslive there peacefully and have been for some time.However, there are somevolcanoes that have had eruptions so devastating that entire communities havebeen destroyed (if not worse).
