Mom: Where is the party?
You: at my friends house.
Mom: do I know this friend?
You: no but she comes from a good family.
Mom: if I don’t know her you can’t go.
You: but everyone is going to be there!
Mom: that is not my problem, you are my child and I know what’s best for you.
