If you can see, the equation is the opposite so this means that to find the answer, your gonna have to add first.. instead of subtracting..
1.Add the terms:
[tex]7+\frac{5}{4}=7\frac{5}{4}[/tex]
2.Simplifly the terms:
[tex]7\frac{5}{4}=7\frac{25}{20}[/tex]
[tex]\frac{4}{5}=\frac{16}{20}[/tex]
3.Subtract the terms:
[tex]7\frac{25}{20}-\frac{16}{20}=7\frac{9}{20}[/tex]
Therefore, the mistake was step 2...
