what are the differences between a hub and a switch​

Answer:

A hub is used to send a message from one port to another port. A hub doesn't know the specific address of the destination where the message needs to send the message but it will send anyway.

A switch handles data and knows the very address of the destination the message is heading to. A switch works on a data link layer.
