What is the inverse fraction of: g(x) = -5x-1 {Please explain how you got the answer}

g(x)=-5x-1
Change g(x) to y.
y=-5x-1
Switch x and y.
x=-5y-1
Solve for y.
x+1=-5y
Divide by -5.
(x+1)/-5=y

(x+1)/-5=y is your answer.
