6 pieces of 5 foot string and a 4 foot piece left because when dividing 34 into 5 the answer comes out to 6.8 so then take the 6 and multiply by 5 and the answer is 30 and that is how I got my answer. And the 4 foot piece I got by subtracting 34 by 30 and got 4 left over. I hope this helps.
