It was Simon Bolivar who helped in freeing most of the territories from the hands of the Spaniards. He was a Venezuelan military leader who helped against the revolution against the wide Spanish empire. He was said to be born in wealth. In 1825, the "Republic of Bolivia" was created for his honor.
