The United States before the WWI had extensive protectionist policies for its booming industry, but I do not prevent it from having extensive commercial relations with the British Empire, with France and with countries of South America, the products it sold were something processed with England, cars with the countries of america and had a close commercial relationship with france, which stood out with wines and industry.
