look at shape
fold it out or whateveryo yo like
we see that the faces are
4 triangles
4 rectangles in midddle
4 more triangles on other side


calculate areas
area of triangle=1/2bh
area of rectangle=bh

leftmost side
h=1.8
b=2
4*1/2*2*1.8=7.2 cm^2

middle recangles
base=3
height=2
aera=3*2=6
multply by 4 snce 4 recangles
6*4=24 cm^2

other triangles

b=2
h=2.71
total area=4*1/2*2*2.71=10.84cm^2
add them up

7.2cm^2+24cm^2+10.84cm^2=42.04cm^2
