School of judo -Shinshu believe that if a person has a true attitude of humility and faith in Amida, then that person should chant his name in response when that person receives Amida's grace
Which is why the followers often chant Namu Amida Butsu which could be translated as '"I take refuge/protection in Amitābha Buddha"
