well you need to get a by itself...
a/4*4-5/6=-1/2*4
so...
a-5/6=-815.028
Then...
a-5/6+5/6=-815.028+5/6
a=-814.1946667

1a/4-5/6 = -1/2
+5/6 +5/6

1a/4= (-3*1)/(2*3) + 5/6
1a/4= -3/6+5/6

1a/4=2/6
4/1=

a=2/6 * 4/1

a= 8/6 = 4/3 = 1 1/3
