Weight is mass times gravitational acceleration. Without a specific location, Earths average gravitational acceleration is 9.807.
So .5x9.8.07= weight
The answer is 4.9035 newtons

weight w = mg    g is the acceleration due to gravity    w = 0.5kg*9.8m/s²   = 4.9N
