First you have to distribute the top part of your expression. This allows you cancel out most terms. (It looks like you're solving a limit/derivative. If so, a way to check you're on track is to see that pretty much everything in that second part, the f(a), gets cancelled out.)

Then you can cancel out what you're left with (the two h's).
