The vertex form is
[tex]y = a {(x - h)}^{2} + k[/tex]
where (h,k) is the vertex, and a is the coefficient.

On the graph, the vertex is point (2,0), so our vertex form is
[tex]y = {(x - 2)}^{2} + 0[/tex]
which is answer D. We remove the a, since the parabola is not stretched, just shifted.
