Gerrymandering is the process of redrawing legislative boundaries for the purpose of benefiting the party in power. It refers to the process of model out legislative boundaries for political gain. It is started by Elbridge Gerry the Governor of Massachusetts in the year 1810. He began the process of relocating congressional districts by means of the changes in population.
