According to sociologist Neil Smelser's value-added model, what actually triggers collective behavior? Based on Neil Smelser's value-added model it is said that different viewpoints can actually trigger collective behavior. The different viewpoints within society are known to trigger such behavior by those living within the society due to being shown different viewpoints from different people.
