Hello!

The center will be the point the is directly in the middle of the two point given

To do this you find how many spaces are in between the points

The points are 8 units apart on the x-axis
The points are 8 units apart on the y-axis

The center is going to be 4 units over and 4 units up from the lower point

Add 4 to each values of the lower point

-6 + 4 = -2
-1 + 4 = 3

The center is (-2, 3)

Hope this helps!
