The area of a circle is:
A=πr²

In order to find the radius from the diameter, divide the diameter by 2. This makes the radius 16.5. You can then plug those numbers into the formula.

A=π(16.5)²
A=π(272.25)
A=(3.14)(272.25)
A=854.865

If you round this number, it then brings the area of the circle to 854.87 yards. I hope this helped.

circumference is 2 pi r = 33 so r= 33/2pi = 33/6.28 = 5.25 yards so the area is
pi r ^2 = 3.14 (5.25)^2= 86.55 sq yards
