assuming i=√-1

treat i as a variable

A-M+S-P=
(4-3i)-(-4+i)+(i)-(2)=
4-3i+4-i+i-2=
4+4-2-3i-i+i=
6-3i

Compute the given value
4-3i-(-4+I) +i-2
Open the bracket
4-3i+4-i+i-2
Collect like terms
4+4-2=3i+i-i
6=3i
Divide both side by 3
I=2
Therefore A-M+S-P=6-3i
