135 = 30% of x

135 = 30% * x

135 = 0.3x

[tex]135= \frac{3}{10}x [/tex]

Multiply both sides by the reciprocal.

[tex]135* \frac{10}{3} =x [/tex]

[tex]\frac{135*10}{3} =x [/tex]
